Biography
Nigel Trim has more than 20 years experience working in the industry at all levels. A pharmacologist, Nigel has worked in cardiovascular, oncology, respiratory, gastroenterology and many niche disease areas, his experience extends to pharmaceuticals, biologicals, biotechnology and medical devices. Nigel has run a number of companies both UK and overseas and has particular experience in Central and Eastern Europe. He has also worked extensively throughout Europe including Central and Eastern Europe, North America and South East Asia.
Biography
Jamie Chorlton has 9 years experience in clinical research and has built an outstanding track record during this time. Prior to joining Matrix in 2005, Jamie held the position of Clinical Project Manager at Oxxon Therapeutics Ltd where he successfully lead the hepatitis B program through phase IIa and guided the company through the implementation of the EU Clinical Trials Directive. Prior to joining Oxxon, Jamie was a Clinical Project Manager at Wyeth Vaccines Research where he ran 3 clinical trials in Eastern Europe and the UK. He also played a leading role in the global implementation of a clinical trial management system within the organisation. Earlier in his career, Jamie worked for 3 years as a Clinical Research Associate in a variety of therapeutic areas including anti-infectives, cardiovascular disease, rheumatology and women’s health.
Biography
Stewart Hulse has vast experience in both clinical research and in clinical recruitment. Stewart graduated from Leicester University with a degree in Physiology and quickly embarked on a career as a CRA. Working for both pharma and CROs Stewart progressed quickly to project coordination roles before transferring his skills to clinical recruitment. Stewart has a considerable track record of success with regard to the placement of people in both permanent and contract positions within the industry. Stewart has worked for the leading clinical recruitment companies and has recruited for all the major companies in the industry. Stewart aims to deliver a quality service through integrity and an ethical approach to clients, candidates and employees alike.
Biography
Michelle Eykelbosch started her career in Advertising & Marketing, with a move to Business Management in 1994. Michelle joined Matrix in 1999, and has played a key role in the development and expansion of the business. In the latter years, the business has demanded the role of Financial Controller, which was a natural progression for Michelle to undertake.
